We are looking for talented classical ballet dancers aged between 8 - 19yrs.  

State Youth Ballet Company prides itself on casting all roles from successful applicants each season.

We provide pre-professional company experience to young emerging dancers with a fully stage production.  

Rehearsals will take place every Sunday during Term 3 over a 10 week period which are held at our Box Hill Nth studios.

AUDITIONS SCHEDULE Sunday 14th June

9am - 10am: 8 & 9 years old auditions 

10:15 - 11:15am: 10 years old auditions 

11:30 - 12:30: 8 to 10 years old call backs*

1pm - 2pm: 11 & 12 years old auditions  

2pm - 3pm: 13 & 14 years old auditions  

3:15 - 4:15pm: 11 - 14 years old call backs*

4:30 - 5:30pm: 15 years to 19 years audition  

5:30 - 6:30pm:  15 years to 19 years call backs & Lead Roles Call Backs*

*Some call back dancers may be required to attend call backs or additional audition times with different age groups for casting purposes.   Dancers required for a call back  will be given a call back slip at the end of their audition time.

REHEARSAL & PERFORMANCE SCHEDULE

Term 3 Sundays:  

Weekly Sunday rehearsals between 12:30pm and 5:30pm.  

Company dancers are not required the whole time every week and recieve a weekly schedule every Tuesday via the members portal

21st September Theatre Rehearsals

22nd September 1pm & 7pm performances
