Announcing Our 2026 Season: Sleeping Beauty

The State Youth Ballet Company is delighted to announce our 2026 production of Sleeping Beauty — one of the world’s most beloved classical ballets. Set to Tchaikovsky’s glorious score, this timeless fairy tale follows Princess Aurora, the Lilac Fairy and the forces of good and evil in a story of grace, courage and true love’s triumph.

Auditions for our 2026 Company season will be held Sunday 16 November, and are open to talented ballet students aged 8 to 19 from across Victoria. We welcome passionate young dancers ready to extend their artistry, technique and performance experience in a professional company environment.

Our 2026 January Intensive will run from 19–22nd January, providing dancers with an inspiring week of coaching, repertoire, and company preparation in the lead-up to the season. For full season information see the auditions page.
